Six supercars, all with a claimed top speed of 200mph or more were put to test. The test was simple, to reach 200mph as quickly as possible. This test from Road and Track threw up some interesting results; two supercars failed to reach 200mph in the two mile run, and the mighty Bugatti Veyron got only the second spot!

Results however, are not conclusive. Some of the cars were stock, and some heavily tuned, though all ran on DOT tires. The Lambo had nearly 15,000 miles on its clock and was fitted with aftermarket wheels, this surely isn’t good for the aerodynamics and increases the air drag.
