It is known that sleep disorder causes physical, mental, and social problems of individuals and interfere with wellness health. In order to prevent and manage sleep problems, it is important to know the cause and results of sleep disorders. Therefore, this study utilizes sleep disorder-related research published in Korea from 2017 to 2021 to confirm the causes and results of sleep disorder among adolescents, college students, and the elderly. In adolescents, sleep disorder occurred from school grade stress, smartphone addiction, and academic self-efficacy, and was confirmed to affect academic stress, body mass index, and depression. In college students, sleep disorder occurred from smartphone addiction, physical ¡¤ mental stress, personal relations, and was confirmed to affect negative emtions, self-efficacy, and sleep patterns. In the elderly, sleep disorder occurred from social support, and was confirmed to affect emotional problems, physical activity, and quality of life. These results suggest the importance of understanding sleep disorders, and can be used as baseline data to develop physical and psychological programs for adolescents, college students, and elders coping with sleep disorders.
